Strategic Partnerships Manager (Maternity Leave)
Lingokids' mission is to help 100 million families around the world raise amazing children through Playlearning™. To help us on this mission we’re looking for an exceptional Strategic Partnerships Manager. The role can be fully remote or based in our sunny Madrid office.

As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for executing the partnerships strategy in assigned territories (with a special focus on Mexico, Spain, Brazil & selected countries). You will own, manage & successfully conduct a pipeline of leads across different verticals (consumer brands, SCR, B2B2C, brand licensing).
The Partnerships team helps build a robust, trustful, and purposeful brand parents, kids & educators love by establishing meaningful deals that generate awareness, improve brand engagement, and drive new subscriptions & business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure successful execution of partnerships and brand activations and build relationships with existing and new partners.
- Ensure implementation and maintain long-term relationships with key partners, especially in the Mexican & Spanish markets.
- You will work cross-functionally, with internal teams such as Legal, Finance, Brand, Product, and Business Intelligence.
- Nurture existing relationships with customers with tailored reports, retrospectives, and relevant high-quality content.
- Negotiate upsells and new partnerships with existing customers.
- Prepare detailed reports to keep the management team updated regarding progress in the business development activities.
- Track, gather, review and translate deal metrics and KPIs to communicate impact to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive to become a Lingokids brand ambassador in the US market and identify new opportunities, drive sales innovation and identify scalable opportunities
- You will work with SDR teams, prospecting & validating leads, prioritizing the opportunities that best help us achieve our quarterly and yearly goals.
Desired experience
- You have at least 3-5 years of experience in successfully establishing B2B & B2B2C brand marketing partnerships or doing business development in the digital space.
- You have a solid experience in account management, preferably from the entertainment, ed-tech, FMCG (Fast-moving consumer goods), kids, or digital subscription-based services/start-ups.
- You are familiar with digital subscription-based business models, and coupon redemption processes.
- You are autonomous and have strong business acumen & analytical skills.
- You feel comfortable in negotiations, and preparing contracts, with a strong bias for sorting legal, compliance, and financial policies and following proper procedures.
- You are detail-oriented and persuasive.
- You are a team player, with effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with IP licensing deals and working with renowned entertainment brands, preferably in the kids or ed-tech digital space is a plus.
- You are curious and playful, not afraid of tough challenges, and confident enough to share your views.
- You enjoy working in a cross-functional team.
- English is a must. We are a multicultural team, and we are providing a service in English so, we don't care about certificates, but we expect you to be able to communicate fluently.
- You should feel equally comfortable communicating in long-form writing. We have become a fully remote company so, we believe that being articulate in both spoken and written long-form asynchronous communication is key to working efficiently together.
