2. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
If you wish to work with us, you are a candidate in one of our selection processes and you are interested in one of the vacancies that we show in our Open Positions section, it is important that you understand how we handle the personal data of applicants-candidates in the hiring process and that you feel safe about it.
Therefore, in this Privacy Policy, we explain what we do with your data and how we protect it.
2.1 WHEN AND HOW DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA?
We collect the personal data of the candidates for the selection process through:
A. Web application: to manage and simplify the recruitment process we use a platform provided by Teamtailor, hereinafter the "Service".
- Where you provide your personal data directly and upload your CV in the application form in Jobs/Open Positions within the CAREER MENU.
- Use of the Service to communicate with our staff or a specific department through the Teams section of the CAREER MENU by completing the contact form.
- Employee Recommendations: In some cases, existing employees can make recommendations about potential candidates by providing the necessary contact information. In these cases, we ask our employees to ask you to read and review this Privacy Policy and to authorize our employee to share your data with us before providing your personal information.
When we contact you, we will inform you of this circumstance and we will verify that you have consented to us processing your data to participate in the selection process and apply for a vacancy. Please, we insist that you read this Policy and send us any questions regarding the processing of your data.
If we have obtained your data following the recommendation of one of our employees, you can withdraw from the process, withdraw your consent or oppose to carrying out this treatment, as well as keep your data and CV in our systems for future vacancies. We will collect your consent for these purposes if you choose to do so.
B. Chat: adding relevant information to the application process.
C. Social media: when you register the request by accessing the platform through the connection via login from your Facebook or LinkedIn profile. In this way, your personal data may be synchronized with the Service as long as you authorize the platforms responsible for your profile on these networks to share your basic information with us.
D. Recruitment of talent by third parties: Monkimun Labs SL uses Remote, a consultant specializing in selection processes and recruitment of personnel for the active search of certain profiles. Through the contact established with the candidates of interest, the necessary information is collected for the evaluation of candidates in accordance with the requirements that we set for the desired profile in our job offers.

We will only collect and process data that is relevant to the recruitment process, in accordance with the principles of minimization and purpose limitation set out in the GDPR. So:

3. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
As a general rule, data will be kept for the duration of the selection process. When the selection process has concluded, if the candidate is not hired, their consent will be required for their conservation in our systems in case they want to receive news about future vacancies and opportunities, for a maximum period of 2 years. Otherwise, the CV will be deleted and the personal data will be deleted after 30 days from the end of the process.
4. COMMUNICATION OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
We inform you that your personal data may be provided to:
- Processors who, in order to provide the necessary services, must access certain information and/or personal data, such as our service providers and IT and technological solutions. We have signed data processing agreements and implemented technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access or processing of your data and to guarantee the protection and security of your data.
In case of legal requirement or for the formulation, exercise and defense of claims derived from responsibilities that occur in our relationship with you, your data may be communicated to:

- Security forces and bodies.
5. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Lingokids, in general, will not transfer or communicate your personal data to third parties established in territories located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), except in those cases in which some of the exceptions included in the data protection regulations are met.
Some of the technology solution providers serving the Company that are located outside of the EEA may have access to certain personal data, in particular, first and last name, username and corporate email address and these territories offer a level of protection not comparable to that offered by the GDPR. In these cases, the Company has signed contracts that incorporate the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and has implemented additional technical and organizational measures, so that the data is processed in a minimal, adequate and secure manner.
For these purposes, we inform you that our provider of the selection and recruitment platform, Teamtailor AB, is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, EU territory. Although its parent company is located in the United States, a territory declared unsafe for data protection purposes, it does not control what specific data we process about the candidates.
6. RIGHTS OF INTERESTED PARTIES
You can, at any time, exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation of the treatment or portability of the data by sending an email to the address dpo@lingokids.com.

In compliance with our obligation to keep secret the personal data collected, as well as our duty to safeguard them, we have implemented security measures designed to guarantee the security of your personal data and prevent its alteration, loss and treatment and/or unauthorized access, depending on the state of the technology, the nature of the data we handle and the risks to which they are exposed, whether they come from human action or from the physical or natural environment in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations.
We care about your privacy, reinforcing the confidentiality and integrity of the information we process and continuously maintaining supervision and control processes of our processes to ensure respect for your privacy and the security of your data.
