Working principles
-
Bias for action
When we have a great idea, we just make it happen. We simplify whenever possible, instead of investing tons of time planning and discussing everything: we just do it!
-
Multiple hats
Sometimes we may need to do a bit of everything, even things out of our scorecard, be flexible, be ready to roll up our sleeves, and do what needs to be done.
-
Be bold
We take risks, and aren't afraid of making mistakes. The only people that make mistakes are the ones that make decisions. When we take calculated risks, more often than not, we will win. Try, fail, learn and try faster!
-
Avoid bureaucracy
Processes are a double-edged sword, we need to have enough processes to enforce quality standards and ensure you know what is going on. However, too many processes can slow down performance and kill innovation. When a process becomes bureaucratic, it’s time to adjust it.
-
Laser focus
When everything is a priority, nothing is. We're laser-focused on the important matters and always ask “why” we are working on it.
-
Embrace chaos
…For the sake of speed! We learn to navigate through chaos; it doesn’t mean you enjoy and wants to stay in a chaotic environment, but that you don’t get blocked when it happens.
-
Be the owner
We take ownership of our responsibilities and make everything under our control to unblock and make things happen!
-
Lift up together
We recognize our peers and also help them to realize they have areas of improvement. We're curious, empathetic, and seek understanding.
